At COVID-19 Alert Level 4, with community transmission, the government stipulates that only "urgent care or dental emergencies" are treated.
"Urgent care" and "Dental emergencies" includes treatment for:

• severe tooth or gum infections
• severe toothache
• fractured teeth or pulp exposure
• adjustment or repair of dentures where eating is significantly impacted
• trauma
• facial swelling
• post-extraction bleeding
• severe lock-jaw
