Ministry of Health Guidelines are closely followed and after EVERY patient we disinfect and decontaminate any surfaces contacted including EFTPOS machine, door handles, reception desk, etc.
Patients should follow best practice; put their own concerns first, reduce contact as appropriate and reschedule appointments if you are at high risk, unwell or suspect you have come into contact with an unwell person. The aim is to limit the amount of people you come in to contact with while you are sick and to protect the vulnerable people in our community.

- All pre-appointment correspondence now include instructions for patients about the symptoms of Covid-19 and avoidance if unwell
- All patients are exposed to warning signs about symptoms
- We offer contact-less check-in and check-out facilities, financial documentation and Paywave
- All patients are screened for early-signs of fever before treatment
- All clinical surfaces are covered or wiped down before treatment
- All patients are given a prophylactic antiseptic peroxide mouthrinse before treatment to lessen the number of germs in their saliva
- Where possible patients will have a rubber dam placed to isolate exposure to only the tooth requiring treatment
- Staff wear face-shields over masks and glasses to further protect exposure to saliva aerosols
- Our clinic is equipped with a negative pressure ventilation system to expel aerosols from the room
- A log of all visitors (couriers, reps, family/friends that attend with patients) will be recorded to trace anyone who has been in the building
